Comments: I'm not sure if you ever forward these emails to Alexandre, but I want to contact him to support him still in this year's Tour de France. I tried the link you have to Astana's website and it doesn't work, so I thought I'd at least try here, and hopefully you can forward this to him. I would greatly appreciate it. Anyway, I realize he appears out of it, but I don't think it's all over yet. I feel that if he rides hard in the two time trials, and attacks on the two mountain top finishes in the Pyrenees, that he could still win the race. Maybe even an attack like Floyd Landis last year, early on a hard day where the peloton doesn't think he can survive, could get him back into the race. The lucky thing for him is that he still has a lot of time to give it a try. So, why not try. He doesn't need all 8 mins in one shot. However, he needs to chip away a little at the competition, and with a decisive blow gain back a big chunk of his time on one day. Because they wo't give him two shots at it. If he can gain 30sec.-1min at each time trial, and a couple of minutes on one mountain stage, then he needs one big day of 4-5 minutes over his competitors. It can be done because there is no Lance Armstrong controlling things. This race is wide open, and many mistakes have been made by the big contenders already. It highly unlikely, but it is possible. And I still believe in him. Please tell him that. And tell him that people still want to see him go for it. Thanks so much. I appreciate your time and consideration. Comments: Bonjour Alexander, je suis un de vos suporter depuis de nombreuses années, et je voulais vous faire part de mon émotion quand je vous ai vu tout au long de cette étape jusqu'au Galibier, lorsque je vous ai vu répondre au journaliste et dès le début je vous ai vu si triste, si déçus et également une telle souffrance aussi bien morale que physique, je n'ai pu m'empecher tout comme vous de retenir mes larmes. Je sais à quel point vous avez préparer le tour de France, et pi y a tout ces gens dès le début du tour qui aime faire des polémiques sur vous et aussi sur Kloden ces gens là sont vraiment méchant. Alexander, j'espère que vous aurez mon message et je veux simplement que vous sachiez que vous avez fait preuve d'un tel courage, je voudrais vraiment vous faire part de tout mes encouragements, j'espère que vous allez trouver la force de continuer, et que même si vous montez pas sur la 1ére marche du podium, pour moi c'est vous le gagnant. Je suis moi-même extrement malade et je me bat tous les jours contre une vilaine maladie, et vous et le cyclisme me permet de m'évader et d'oublier ma maladie lorsque je vous regarde courir.
